About the event
A ranger from the National Park Service will enlighten us to the logistics of this important Revolutionary War battle. In 1775, the new Commander in Chief of the Continental Army, Gen. George Washington reviewed the defenses surrounding Boston, built by the militia units of New England. Gen. Washington was impressed with both the works and knowledge of his guide, Henry Knox. This program will explore the siege lines of Boston and the role of Henry Knox in fortifying these lines. To visit the National Park Service Bunker Hill site click here.
